Platform Guidelines

Terms of Service

The guidelines for using Australia's independent electric mobility platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using WattToRide, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all visitors and users of our platform, including our scooter comparison tools, e-bike guides, and technical databases.

2. Nature of Service

WattToRide is an independent data platform. We are not a retailer, manufacturer, or distributor. We do not sell electric scooters, bikes, or accessories directly. Our service is limited to providing technical specifications, comparative data, and links to verified Australian retailers where products may be purchased.

3. Pricing and Data Accuracy

While we strive for 100% accuracy, the personal mobility market is fast-moving. Prices and stock levels change frequently. The technical specifications on WattToRide are normalized from manufacturer data and may vary in real-world conditions. You should always verify the final price and technical specifications on the retailer's official website before completing a purchase.

4. No Responsibility for Purchases

Any transaction resulting from a link on WattToRide is strictly between you and the third-party retailer. WattToRide is not responsible for payment processing, shipping logistics, product warranties, or customer support related to purchases made through external sites.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on WattToRide—including our comparison logic, proprietary WattAI analysis, and curated technical databases—is the intellectual property of WattToRide. Unauthorized scraping, reproduction, or redistribution of our data for commercial use is strictly prohibited.

6. Limitation of Liability

WattToRide provides information for comparison and educational purposes only. We are not liable for any damages, injuries, or losses arising from the use of products found through our platform. Riders are responsible for following local Australian road laws and manufacturer safety guidelines.

7. Updates to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time to reflect changes in our platform or Australian regulations. Continued use of WattToRide after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

Effective Date: April 2026. Use of this site constitutes acknowledgement of our role as an independent comparison engine.
